The seminar workshop was held in National College of Science and Technology, Amafel Bldg., Aguinaldo Highway, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The registration of the Seminar - workshop started at around 7:30 in the morning and the opening program at around 8:30 with Ms. Jerian R. Peren as the Master of Ceremony, a Professor of National College of Science and Technology (NCST).
The Lecturer in the entire seminar – workshop was Engr. Randolph M. Balleras, College Dean of NCST.
Module I is about Computer Hardware Parts Identification. Engr. Balleras gave a lecture about it then we had the written examination. After the lecture, Engr. Balleras with the help of Mr. James Erwin Marribay explained the steps and showed the participants of the seminar - workshop the proper way of computer disassembly and assembly. Then all the participants had the PC assembly and disassembly hands – on after the lunch break until 5 in the afternoon.
On the second day, we had our registration at around 8 in the morning and started the lecture afterwards about software and the steps to be followed in software installation in the computers with Engr. Balleras and Mr. Marribayas trainors. They let us try to install the Windows XP Operating System in the computer following every steps. Then in the afternoon we had our practical exam in computer software installation.
After all the activities, our two day seminar workshop has ended. We had our closing program and awarding of certificates before we went home.
The seminar – workshop will not be possible with the ICT partners, the National College of Science and Technology through the efforts of our very hardworking Supervisor of Information and Communication Technology, Dr. Elias A. Alicaya Jr. With this training, computer teachers can now fix computers in the school computer laboratory to maximize their use by the students.
